AGES OF CHILDREN The Little School has facilities and programs to accommodate children according to their developmental stages. The exact starting age for each program may vary slightly, according to child readiness as well as program capacity. The various programs are:
Both full and half-day care is provided all year long, Monday to Friday. Full-time care is offered between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The morning program is for a maximum of 5 hours per day. (7:00 AM until Noon). We close only between Christmas and new Year. Junior and Senior Kindergarten programs are offered on a full-time basis within The Little School. However, should you decide to enroll your child in an outside school we offer an AM program for those who need care anytime between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, are then bused to their outside school, return to The Little School and remain for the remainder of the day. A PM program is offered to children who need care anytime between 7:00 AM and noon, are then bused to their outside school and return to The Little School at 3:30 PM where they remain until picked up by parents. A nutritious morning and afternoon snack (as well as a late snack where applicable) and a hot meal at lunchtime are provided. The Little School also offers no less than two, three or four days per week on a part-time basis. |
