Days & Hours of OperationOur programs are open all year long, Monday to Friday, except for most statutory holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. Statutory Holidays and any other closure dates are listed below.
The Centre opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM. Please make sure your child is in your care no later than 5:45 PM to allow Educators time to tiddy-up and close their programs by 6:00 P.M.
The Little School Observes the Following Statutory Holidays
- New Year’s Day
- Family Day (3rd Monday of February each year)
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day
- Canada Day
- Civic Holiday (August)
- Labour Day
- National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
- Thanksgiving Day
- Remembrance Day *
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
* For the convenience of parents, the Centre will be open on Remembrance Day (November 11) but the holiday will be carried over to the week between Christmas and New Year.
The only period of the year in which The Little School is closed is between Christmas and New Year’s. Please refer to the Annual Holidays’ Schedule posted in the Parent Information Centre for more details regarding the specific dates for the Christmas holiday’s closure.
