Age Groups & Programs
The Little School offers facilities and experiences designed to support children at each stage of their development. Entry into each age group is based on a child’s developmental readiness, and starting ages may vary slightly to ensure the best possible transition for each child.
The Little School is licensed for a total capacity of 95 children, distributed in six different programs as follows:
Infants
6 weeks to 18 months
Jr. Toddlers
18 to 30 months
Sr. Toddlers
24 to 36 months
Jr. Preschoolers
approximately 2½ to 3½ years
Sr. Preschool
approximately 3 to 4 years
Kindergarten
approximately 3.8 to 5 years (up to December 31 of the school year)
